No idea I'm afraid, but if you haven't already you could try the owner's club www.vx220.org.uk to see if anyone there has. smile

Looks abit of a lemon. Went to look at a 2002 blue one yesterday in Knaresborough, this was after a phone call to a nice dealer who said that it was the best one he'd ever seen and was in fantastic condition, me and dad got there to find just about a scratch on every panel, cracked sill on driver's side and a rip on the driver's seat bolster, all the discs were really rusted so obviously been stood for a long time. I joined the VX220 forum the other day, just haven't posted yet. smile

Just so you know, this is quite a common occurrence on these cars - mine has exactly the same two flaws but it doesn't necessarily mean it's not looked after....especially when you see the price Vauxhall want for a new sill cover!

ETA: I'm assuming you mean a cracked sill cover (the black plastic thing) and not the sill itself which is cracked..

The actual sill was cracked in this case, not the black plastic cover. Out of curiosity how much are the sill covers?

I got a new sill cover from Evans Halshaw on the A66 for about £90 so not too bad for a dealer part, arrived in less than a week also.

As posted previously the sill cover and seat bolster are cracked and worn on nearly all VX's so I wouldn't let that put out off. As regards the paintwork; they will all suffer from stone chips due to the front being low and slab fronted. My car gets a bit of a bashing in the car park at work so there are scrathes on some of my panels.

Cracks in the fibre glass also aren't the end of the world as a crack can be ground out and filled/painted. When I owned a ginetta the first piece of advice I was given was if ever you have a bump/crash pick up all the pieces as they will all go back on the car with plenty of filler and glass mat.biggrin

I would be tempted to use these faults as a bargining tool.thumbup
