Hi all, my brother owns a 1994 corsa gsi, I believe it's a c16xe engine, it has an intermittent fault whereby it stalls when the revs drop down during gear changes etc, it appears to be quite random and does it when the engine is hot or cold, had a diagnostic check done twice by differant garages and no fault codes found even though the management light comes on when the car stalls. So far he has replaced the mass air flow sensor, crank sensor, temperature sender and also the fuel pump relay which local vx dealer reccomended, still no improvement! Any suggestions muchly appreciated!

Throttle body? Take it off and clean with WD40 or just clean in position. This happens to my Dads vectra 1.8 16 valve sometimes.

i also think the problem will be in the throttle body area.

Throttle body, idle control valve, throttle position sensor
