VXR8 v 535d

Wondering if anyone has driven both of these cars and their opinions. Currently have a 535d which looking to swop. Mileage will be much lower than in 535d so looking at petrol car around £20K. VXR8 flew past me the other day which grabbed my attention!!!

Have driven a 5 Series in past & currently own a VXR8 - No comparison! The VXR8 is hugely more fun! The down sides are theres less equipment & the Aussue build quality is not in the same league as the Germans, oh & the average 17mpg hurts! But the V8 noise & rwd power is awesome! Also love the fact it turns heads wherever it goes & a 5 series certainly wont do that. Always getting asked about it & everyone seems to love it.

If youve got any questions put a posting in the HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) section - thats where most of us VXR8 owners hang out - it is really a HSV afterall.

VXR8s tend to fly past alot of people!

I was pressing on off a roundabout the other day in wifeys Mini and noticed a VXR8 come out of nowhere very rapidly and disappear just as quickly!
