Vectra 3.2 V6 - Viper Kit or Induction Kit ???
Discussion
Hi,
Can anyone help, i have a Vectra 3.2 V6 and I wanted to originally add an induction kit but I came across the Piper cross Viper Kit.
Can anyone tell me if there is a noticeable difference between the Viper kit against a K & N/Piper cross induction kit as the difference in price is around £80.
Anyone had any experiences with either kits and in particular the same car?
Any advice welcome?
Regards

From experience, a panel filter in the original airbox, with the flap in the bottom section removed will work better than an induction kit.
The noise will be less, but the Vauxhall engines really don't like warm air being sucked in, so you'd need to do some serious shielding and feeds for cold air to get any benefit. The Pipercross is enclosed, which is better, but like you say, it's more expensive.
There are other ways to make the 3.2 shift, De-catting, manifolds etc, which I'm happy to share if you're interested!
