oxygen sensor bypass astra 2.2 sri

hi just wonderd if anybody has had the problem that im going fru. ive got an astra 2.2 sri and the engine management light is on ive plugged it into the diagnostic machine and is sayin cat effiency is below threshold after the cat someone told me that you can bypass it so im just wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction if you could i would really appreciate it many thanks
