Corsa 1.0 3 cylinder problems

Hi guys, new to the Vauxhall forum but I'm hoping you can help me, my daughter's got a 2003 corsa 1.0 3 cylinder, she's had it about 3 months now and ever since it has been "difficult" to get 1st and 2nd gear,now however it is nigh on impossible! is this a common fault and how easy is it to rectify?

got ot sortend now, it was the linkage, common fault aparently.

What did you do to fix it ? My sons 1.0 has developed the same problem.
