VX220 Flat battery please help!

I went to unlock the car the other day (hasn't been used in quite a few weeks) and the battery is completely dead. So dead in fact that i can't actually unlock the car. Can anyone suggest what to do, as short of smashing the window I can't think of a way to get in.

I know there's a button above the rear reg but i wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

Press and hold the button on the back of the car and at the same time press the remote button on your key fob.

i think you have to press your key fob onto the button on the back then press the fob button at the same time

And if the above does not work gently remove one of the disks covering the door knob and open the door with the key.
