Fan Belt Crank Pulley...fubar

Ok whos clever idea was it to make these things out of rubber? You know I'd prefer the belt to snap from old age before the pulley fails. That way it's a simpler belt replacement.... That would be simpler right?

A lot of the Z20LET owners are changing the 'stock' aux pully for underdrive all alloy ones - and removing all the un-needed tensioners and guides - then running a 858 belt straight to the alternator, this reduces losses but more importaintly the stock pully can wear loose and throw the belt onto the crank with catastrophic damage resulting!!!

An all alloy pully stops this from potentialy happening.
