Thinking about buying one for a daily driver anything I need to know?

Currently has 50k on the clock when does the cambelt need to be change?

Vx recommend 80k / 4yrs IIRC. If you choose to leave it till 80k though, you're either brave or dumb

You will be looking at a £500 job for the chain which should be changed at 60000 miles. I would look out for the sound of the chain rataling at tick over. The later cars '02 onwards' had a modified oil jet to help lube the chain at tickover. Some had a recall, so would check and see if and when this was done. If all is well they are a great car. I went out in Mark watts supercharged 2.2 at courtenays eailer in the year and that was incredible. All the best.
