got her over a year ago looking like this..

this is the first time i saw her

after a bit of a wash and rear light change !!

first things to be fitted were these headlight protectors

right from the start though i had a picture in my mind of how i wanted it to look.so........

scoured ebay and got these wheels for £40. £25 worth of paint lots of elbow grease and £140 for a set of new tyres they were ready to go on

then next was the interior...

as nice as the gsi interior is/was its not what i wanted as its such a heavy interior
so out it came

take one unwanted LS seat as a donor for a one off subframe. just used one part of the seat runners

one grinder and one welder

and voila !!!

wheels were given a repaint and it stayed like this for a while as i just enjoyed polishing and driving it

Got any performance figures?

The 3.0 was about 210 brake wasn't it? That should shift rather nicely...

Looks good.

Nice job. Was there any issues in getting the RWD Omega motor to mate to your gearbox.
What did that horrible mess that got sucked up the oil pickup turn out to be and where did it come from to be there? eek

That looks awesome, really nice job. The 3.0l engine must shift!!!

Love the Irmy grille too, thats something I wanna do to my C at some point.

Hoses - Go blue, I think it would blend better with the yellow on the block which I have to say is awesome and with the white external paint. Im sure White/Yellow/Blue used to be Vauxhall racing colours for someone.

Enjoy her!

nope as you just swap the block and heads over from the 3.0 then use all the 2.5 stuff

it was sump sealant from somebodys earlier attempt to cure an oil leak from the sump

Nice car. Got a soft spot myself for the underrated MSD Vectras.

The 2.5GSi was quick enough with 190brake, another 20 plus the extra torque of a 3.0 should make that a rapid car.
