Will Wayne return your calls

Just over a year ago, I tried to get a test drive in a VX220. I called my local Vauxhall dealer, and they said to call Wayne (!) at the Vauxhall dealer in Milton Keynes. So I did. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again. He wasn't there, so I left a message. He didn't call, so I called again.
Then I bought a TVR instead.
How do Vauxhall expect to make any money like this?

My wife has had this problem,only with Seat,starts off she wants to sell her 2000 megane coup'e,so she looks at other cars to replace it and fancies a new Seat cupra (or whatever)so off we go to a Seat dealer in fleet and Spend the morning there going thru details and can they arrange a test drive..no problem they say "we will arrange this" ,,2 weeks later nothing!! so she gets in touch only to be told she's had the test drive,,Uhhh,,so my wife gets in touch with a Seat dealer in southampton,,no problem they say we will get one up to you at your place of buisiness in the next week or two...4 weeks later ......Nothing!!,can you believe it someone with umpteen grand to spend and no takers

I'd much rather be trying to get through to Vauxhall sales, than trying to get through to TVR servicing/warranty dept.
I realise the service you had from Wayne was poor, but he's a top fella doing the best he can on his own.. I appreciate you didn't know this at the time, but I'd much rather wait days to get hold of Wayne, than get through straight-away to any other VX dealer.

Sorry if I didn't call you back, we know we have a problem with our reception, if I am lucky enough to get the message, it normaly has the wrong number.
It also depends on the time of year you called, if it was aug, sept or october, My wife was pregnant and we spent a lot of time going to and from the hospital because of complications, so apologies, I had other thing on my mind for a few months last year.
If it was the summer, then I apologise again, it can be tricky, in milton keynes we are the U.K's number one vx220 dealer and one of the U.K's biggest North American dealers, ie Corvette's, Camaro's etc.
If you haven't already driven a VX, I know you dont need or want to buy one now, but I'd love to meet you and you can see what all the fuss is about with the VX.

It was August 2002. Obviously, you had a good excuse, and I hope your wife's OK now, but you really need(ed) to get your office/receptionist/messages sorted out. Perhaps one solitary punter doesn't count for a lot, but £22K walked into the sunset there.... Perhaps you can sell me a VX220 turbo next year.
Story so far on the Seat,my wifes boss asks if my wife has heard anything from Seat,'no sez my wife',so wifes Company ring Seat to find out whats going on.
Seat phones my wife 'what model would you like' they ask, 'Leon SX' sez my wife,OH sez Seat weve only got an S 'But we will search around and ring back in 10 minutes....that was 3 days ago.
