02 vectra new shape

hi all could any one tell me if my 02reg 2.2 sri petrol new shaped vectra has a timing belt or chain fitted if so what mileeage or time usage is changed at

The 2.2 has a chain and as yours is the vectra c it will not need changing until 150000 miles.

wooahh !!! do not leave it for 150000 miles ffs. as a vauxhall nut ive changed over 20 of these chains and can tell ou that they need changing at 60k. ive seen them fail at anything from 70k upwards.

if your engine goes tits up your looking at the best part ok £1k for a GOOD z22se

also use a genuine vauxhall chain kit as its only £100 on trade club and includes the modified oil jet ( yours should already have the improved jet but a few still have the old one )
