Believe me, it's a sensational car. Ride, handling, body control are in another league, thanks to some development taking place on UK roads. And then there's the cabin: even in base spec, equipment and trim are so much better than you'd expect for a sub-£16k car.

Do you suppose that inspite of the fantastic press this new car has received Clarkson will still manage to rubbish it?
