On the way back from Cleator Moor this afternoon. Grey one on the back of a low loader and followed this red one binned which appears to have got away a little lighter frown

thought you would have more sense and be more careful about what you post after you were all over the news for posting photos of doing 150mph down the motorway..

pure speculation

if you dont know the facts, dont post.

its the fact your are guessing about stuff.

if you dont know the facts then dont post.

the people on .org were also GUESSING that it was an organised meet due to there being a couple of vx's involved. its like chinese whispers. next it will be people guessing it was 67 VX's involved in 180mph mid air pile up..

insurance companies do visit these kinds of sites and will twist your guesses into facts, just think before you post publically as you know personally other people will be reading and gossiping.

also not really fair on the people involved if they have just had their pride and joys written off.

How can you not see what the problem is?

Insurance companies will use any means possible to not pay out.

there you are again.. stating there was a crash on the lakes run.

judging by the fact you do 150mph down the m25 im guessing you wasn't anywhere near the so called lakes run so dont see how you could possibly know anything about it!

they've been deleted as people like you are guessing and gossiping with other people.

you are putting 2 and 2 together and getting 3678.95

not fair on the people involved.

just think before you open your mouth publically. you know first hand what damage stuff can do.

there is nothing suspicious, just you making stories up.

that still is just a pic of a red vx with no number plate and some light damage.

i think that it was smashed into by a low flying apache helicopter on its way to afghanistan.

anyone want to carry the chinese whisper on?

Now you're making it up - there were no helicopters, just around five VX's (that I could see) a low loader and a police car - which was probably from the station that I'd just left wink

sure there weren't 567.3 vx's 18 police cars, 3 army tanks and 400 low loaders?

Absolutely - I drove over 470 miles on Sunday and strangely the only VX's I saw were all nestled together near Keswick.

Why would an insurance co. not pay out simply because pics of a crash are posted on some website confused?? I could take a photo of any crash I see and post it on the internet, it doesnt mean anything I write about it is true though.

Shame to heare about the vx/apache incident, I hope the chopper gets back in the air soon tongue out.

I don't see why 5 VX's in close proximity should suggest a meet or run. Its a common car. I get in traffic jams with them all the time. Why just the other day on the way to work I got in a traffic queue with 20 other VXs - pure coincidence. Why Ant should link these with a meet in the area I've no idea.wobble

From what I've pieced together :

There was a mini-meet. 2 cars had a coming together (1 grey, 1 red). All posts pulled incase there's an insurance investigation. I can't understand all the secrecy myself, it looks like theres something to hide...

Why should this thread be pulled? - I was asked to remove the reg and did so, even though I don't think I've broken any forum rules.

The rate at which threads are being pulled off the VX forum as well as pm's I've received leads me to conclude that all is not what it seems!

Just to clarify: some insurance companies have certain rules regarding what they see as "rallies". This could, for example, be applied to a hoon about involving a certain number of members of a club, should the insurance company be looking for some wriggle space.

Hope this helps. I'm sure the parties involved will discuss it once everything has been resolved, should they so wish.

More pictures and story from the owner of the silver car here http://www.c20xe.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=45... Obviously not as shy or worried as the person he admits crashing into the back of. However it doesn't appear to be the red car he hit from reading this thread (and looking at the damage on both cars) - looks like at least a three car shunt frown
