Corsa 1.2 Engine problem

Had this problem for a while now and no one seems to able to sort it. When starting the engine everything is fine until you set off. When accelerating I get a loss of power and the engine management light comes on. Take your foot off the gas and the light shortly goes out and power is back. The car seems to be much better if it has had time to warm up before setting off. However rev it beyond 3K and light come on again.
Any ideas on could be the problem?

Get it plugged into a diagnostic machine it shoul be able to read the codes of the ecu which will identify the problem. Sound like possibly the cam sensor.

iv ad this problem wiv my car and i put it on the computer at work and it came up with EGR (exhurst gas recuculation) valve. it mite sound stupid but jus try cleaning it out with some brake cleaner.
