z18xe question

Right guys, my astra coupe has the z18xe motor in it and whenever i give it a blip on the throttle and another blip and the revs are dropping the engine seems to run on 3 cylinders for a second, is this normal for this engine, sorry if its a stupid question and cheers in advance for any help guys

I think this is normal. They seem to take a bit of effort to rev up, them things.

Not sure if its a heavy flywheel or fly by throttle or what??
I dont really know what I'm talking about in that last bit.

ah right cheers mate, yeah its fly by wire, hopefully a lightweight flywheel is gonna find its way onto the engine when it comes time to change the clutch (so bloody ages away then)
