Vectra radio gone SAFE

Help! I disconnected the battery in my Veccy, re-connected it later and found the radio/cass has gone into SAFE mode. I've got the pass code but I can't find a way of entering it. Anyone know what to do ??

First turn the radio on and leave it until the safe word disappears and you get 4 lines or is it four zero's I forget now - its been a while since I did this. if you have tried several times to get the code in you coudl have to wait an hour or more for the safe to go on by leaving the radio turned on.

You have the preset radio stations on your radio of 1 to 6. So if you code was 6734 use preset number 1 pressing that until you get the 6 on your screen, using preset station 2 keep pressing that til you get number 7 on the screen keep going with preset 3 and 4 until you have your code on the screen and then press the AS key and hold it. You will hear a bleep after about 2 seconds and the radio will work assuming you did it correctly.
