Mates just bought the above and will be collecting next week.

I don't think they make this model anymore. It appears to have the full XP trim. What is the BHP on this? I think it may be 195 ish? Any idea on the MPG?

Cheers mate. Like I say, it is a Sport Hatch 3 door, so I guess it is 170 ps. Looks like it was replaced with the 16 turbo 180 ps. Funny how the 5 door has more power. Does it make much difference to the performance?

The performance is hardly anything. My friend's 170 kept up with another friend's 200, which kept up with my VXR.

My 1.6T 180 keeps up with my old VXR.

There will be a world of difference between a 170 and a 270 though

Not as much as you'd think...

My 150 (and a bit ) diesel will fairly comfortably keep up with a 280 VXR from a rolling start. I think you'd have to have much more of a difference to make it really noticeable.

That's what I was thinking. No way, not even with a box to make it 200ps.
