Corsa VXR rattle?

My brother's just bought a 57 plate Corsa VXR with 5000 miles on. Quite often whilst driving an annoying noise/rattle comes from what sounds like the offside wheel arch/side panel area.

It tends to happen on some bumpy surfaces or when cornering but not all the time.

Does anyone else have this on their own VXR or have any ideas?

I can't comment on the issue really, except for that it might be the black plastic bit in the arch might have come loose? I think I've seen it mentioned on VXRonline. If not, try posting on there, to find a better answer.

To be honest though, I would just get it into the dealer, and get it investigated.

I've had a Corsa VXR now for just under a year, and when I bought it, I had the same sort of rattling problem from the offside wheel arch, and it turned out to be a loose wheel nut. So that might be the problem. Hope that helps...
