Just had a quote to get my key fob re-programmed at a Vauxhall garage and they said it would be £35 + VAT furiousfuriousfuriousfurious

Anyone know where I could get this done cheaper?

That's nothing. It's normally £250 for key and coding.

I got a second hand key from the flea bay for about 6 quid, swapped the immoboliser over and now just need it programmed

I sent the smiley whilst you were typing the above. Not sure what you mean?

I have taken my key part and put it in the new fob. That answer your question?

Becuase the remote lock/alarm are not working from the key, the alarm will go off everytime you open the door. To get round this you just remove the push in sensor from inside the door well (i think thats what you'd call it) and it doesnt know when you open the doors. Just be careful not to leave your lights on as you wont be warned without the sensor! spin
