2003 vectra auto

i have an intermittent prob with the trans in my 2003 vectra. sometimes it fails to shift from 2 to 3 straight away, it seems to slip into neutral for a sec before going into 3rd.

any ideas?

Is this the semi auto?

If so check the fluid... also check the rad, they have a fault with them and leak coolant into the gearbox... not what you need.
