Control Indicator for engine electronics
Discussion
Right i just got my Corsa back on the road after being un-used for 2months. Anyway i was driving and things were fine, when i started going up a steep hill, the control indicator for the engine electronics came on, and my car began to cut out a bit. after about 5secs the indicator went off and i was driving fine. i drove about 15mile and everything was ok.
Then i set off again drove around town and no problems, Then i was driving along straight bypass at about 50mph nd it lit up again for about 5secs again. i consulted my manual, and it said "if indicator lights up briefly whilst driving it is of no significance" "if it flashes whilst driing consult the vauxhall dealership". Now wud u call mine briefly, and it is doing this because it has not been run for long time? I took it too my local garage he says he didnt know, drive around a bit and if keeps on doing it, then take it back to have a look at it.
HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE BEFORE< IF SO ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED>

I wouldnt worry about it at the moment not if its only comeing on for 5 seconds and then bieng able to drive for 10-15 miles without it comeing on again, if it starts to happen more frequently or if it stays lit permently then either take it to a garage or you could find out the problem yourself as the ecu has a light that flashes and different light squences means different things they are called fault codes look it up on google.com hope this is of some help.
