New Astra headlights: UK+Continental???

I bought a tax free UK spec new shape astra from a military sales specialist and they sold me 2 sets of headlights. The continental ones were fitted as i live in Germany and the UK ones came separately. i looked at the supposed UK set and there were no markings to say UK use only. They also have hex key screws on them which move the lenses horizontally. Im thinkin that the fitted lights can be "switched" for both uses and ive been conned.
Can anyone help or confirm this???
I will add that they are standard lights and not the adaptive front lighting headlights that are fitted

I have heard of some astra lights that you can switch from continental to uk with a switch.
