VX 220 Turbo Brakes

I have had the car for around 2 months and am finding the performance of the brakes really poor.

I have recently fitted Mintex 1144 pads in the front and am about to replace the rears with 1144s.

The front discs have picked up a bad vibration under heavy braking at speed now as well so it looks like the discs need uprating also.

Is this the norm for these cars and can anyone help with what discs / pads to use to improve it without caliper upgrades ect...

I will be doing track days and i have booked the to go to the Ring in May and feel i have no confidence in the brakes

I have a 03 plate vxt and have been running 1144's allround for about 2 years now. the disks are the original ones it came with. I have had no problems.

If your doing a lot of track then you may be better off with padgids.
