my girlfriend really wants one of these - she saw one online at sewardcars.com /sh 07 for 14000 - i am trying to convince her to get a golf instead, havent driven one myself - any good?

just got one great car to drive gearbox is a dream and really fast

I saw one the other day and must admit im not very keen. kinda looks like they just got a astra an squashed it at both ends.

they may grow on me, Im sure there great little cars.

i own a golf gti and the corsa vxr is miles better. she will look like more of a poser in the corsa lol. not a bad price either.

Depends what you are after, vws tend to hold money better and vag cars have a good feel about them, I have the vxr and am glad I went with it. Much more enjoyable drive, gti is a bit of a Q car though. Both are great cars, good luck with whatever she goes for.
