Sporting Bears (Motor Club) organise 10-mile passenger rides at a few selected events

Not all the cars belong to club members so if you have a nice car (and do NOT drive like an idiot) why not follow the links and offer it

Sporting Bears Dream Rides - what's it all about

All money raised goes to children's charities in the UK

Thank you, Nigel

The next event is the charity fund raiser for us:

The NEC Classic Car Show
9 -11 November

See PH Calendar

and

Sporting Bears Dream Rides - what's it all about

We're in Hall 2 now (not four as advertised)

This why we do it

One of last year’s recipients Leicestershire Down's Syndrome Group at Filbert Street receiving our ceremonial cheque

Hi Nigel,

Would have loved to come along in July but we're down south at the 'in laws'. I'll keep an eye out on the Northants thread to see if you arrange anything else.....

Clair.

Thanks for that Clair

Most events are now on PH Calendar (except new one today Vaynor Classic) and have a look at the dates on this link for others www.sportingbears.org.uk/DreamRide

You've reminded me to post a different event in Northants for 1 July

Thanks, Nigel

Kimbolton would be your nearest, we tried Alley Palley one year but it didn't work out and we don't have the contacts at Brooklands now

Richard (V8 EOL)

Thanks for doing Sporting Bears Dream Rides at SuperCar Sunday thumbup

You helped raise £4,400 today for the main beneficiary http://www.williams-syndrome.org.uk/

Poor old Bill knocked himself out trying to impress you in his DB9, he had to be driven home smile

If I was any good with computers I'd put a link here - but I'm not so

Kimbolton is on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, on the B645 the Higham Ferrers to St. Neots road (or other way round)

Huntingdon is 10 miles NE, Bedford 10 miles S, St Neots 7 miles SE

You can get to Kimbolton via the A1, A14, A45 and A6

We had one at start of June in the Scottish borders but for the rest of this year the furthest north is the NEC, sorry

We have had events as far north as the Isle of Bute and as far south as Guernsey

Have a look at this link www.sportingbears.org.uk/DreamRides/DreamRides_Pas...
and click on the photos links of the various events to see some of the wide range of cars that take part
