Were Team Dynamic Wheels an option on a '03 VX NA?
Discussion

There was no factory alloy options, only after market. There are Team dynamic wheels availiable but there in either 16" or 17", going over 17" is not recomended as it messes with the handling apparently.
The general thought is that 16" fronts and 17" rear is the best setup as opposed to the standard 17" all round.
Have a look on www.vx220.org.uk for lots of info

Thanks, Joe for answering my q and directing me to the VX220 website. The seller insists the wheels were an option so have asked the q on VX220 as well to back up what you say. I'm sure you're correct. Thanks again.
The seller doesn't know what he's talking about, and certainly isn't the original owner - that or he's trying to take you for a ride for some reason. He may have been told by whoever he bought the car off that the wheels were an optional upgrade, but he's been mis-informed. There were precious few options available on the VX220, and (other than paint colour, hard top, roof colour and front fog lights (on early cars)) all the options were to do with the interior.
Hope this helps.

personally I would be againt any wheel 'upgrade' on a Vx220 other than the 16(front)17(rear)speedlines that go on the VXR. I'm sure this requires some ABS adjustments too.
So if its Joe average putting some nice shiney 18's on I'd be surprised if it had any advantage over the standard set up.

putting on 18" wheels will upset the handling, the 17" are fine, the 16/17 is the best combo but would also mean suspension upgrades as the front arch then looks massive. You can also have a 4-channel ABS from the VXR installed but i know a lot run without it with no problems.
Some have a lot of trouble with the ABS system, some have no problems, i think it depends on your driving style.
There are quite a few 16/17 options now availiable for the vx, they all work well. the vxr speedlines are very hard to come by but there are some here www.vx220.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=48104. Unfortunatly im not really keen on any of the styles of the after market wheels.
