Crossland engine swap

Hello folks, my good lady has a Crossland with a duff engine. The nearest dealer is changing it on warranty but, having waited five weeks for the replacement to turn up they are now saying they need a special tool to complete the job. Considering this is a Vauxhall garage I’m thinking they just haven’t done the job and are palming her off. So my question is, is a special tool required to remove and replace an engine in a crossland?

If it's under manufacturers warranty, this would be their problem, not yours.

Speak to Vauxhall directly if the dealer insists on extracting the urine!

My partners 2021 crossland engine gas just blown up with 13 thousand miles on it let's hope the main dealer puts the new engine in properly.
