Hi all,
After going 846 days without an issue (I'll never forget, as it failed me on my wedding day lol) my Astra has this fault.
Pedal test and garage diagnostics agrees - Cam sensor. It was changed, no difference. Checked wiring, voltages etc. all good. My local garage said it's beyond them, and to take it to Vauxhall.
They can't see me for over a month
and warned me computer diagnostic test is £159! Bloody 'ell. That'll just say the same thing eh, bloody cam sensor.
Car has no real symptoms, just an EML on, which occasionally jumps to the service light instead. I'm going to use it once a week to keep it chugging along, but meanwhile, does anyone know of anything else I can try on the drive? I have no time and limited tools lol, but I'll have a look at anything than can be reasonably done at home if there's any further ideas!
