71 reg Astra - cannot open fuel flap

Does anyone know of a way to manually release fuel flap on the Astra? I’ve unlocked all doors and pushed the flap few times but it won’t budge.

Unless I am missing something here? I can’t seem to find button inside car to release the fuel flap. Also checked in the boot but can’t find a manual release cable.
