VX220 Locking Wheel Nut and Towing Eye location

Hi all,

I'm sure this question has come up before but I couldn't find an answer. Can anyone advise where th locking wheel nut and towing eye are stored in a VX220 / Speedster?

Open front bonnet and should both be in passenger side chassis.

Thanks, had a look and nothing is immediately obvious on the passenger side. Is there any illustration showing?

There should be a rubber grommet with them around this positions.

Cheers, thanks for that. The rubber grommet is there but the towing eye must have been removed previously.

Step 1: get rid of those locking wheel nuts - weight saving when you throw the key away.

Step 2: see Max88 Performance for the towing eyes; he does them in a few colours. He is on Facebook.

+1 on the locking wheel nuts. More trouble than they’re worth.

For the towing eye, I’d be looking at Chris Redman’s replacement tow post. Clam off job, but it won’t break/rust away.
