What could this ignition problem be.

Firstly, no Vauxhall section in Other Marques. How very PH. So I've dumped it in the nearest, Volvo.
S's car, a 2015 Insignia. Maybe 1/10x you turn the engine/key off it only turns 1 notch off instead of 3, and the key's locked in place. turn it back on, and usually the turn off and key removal happens, but sometimes it takes a further few goes.
What's that all about, and what may the resolve be?
