Putting a 2012 Corsa into storage for a few months...
Discussion
My son is heading off to uni in a couple of weeks, and I'm putting his Corsa into a garage until (probably) Christmas. The garage doesn't have power, but is dry & secure.
So what are the recommendations? It'll be clean & dry before going away, and I'll put down some mousetraps in the garage just in case.
Disconnect the battery for the duration? I assume being a 2012 Corsa SRI it won't have an alarm - so no worries there - is that correct? Any immobiliser issues with a battery disconnected for a few months?
It's low on fuel as is & that won't be changing.
Anything else to consider?

I'd put it on a trickle charger for a start
The garage still doesn't have power, so that's not an option. Long extension lead ?
All I guess I was asking was is there any downside to leaving the battery disconnected for a couple of months?
