Hi, looking for some help...my dad has bought a 2011 Astra Estate 1.3 ecoflex diesel which has steel wheels, after 2 failed attempts to buy alloys to fit ( I know they have to be off another diesel) can you actually buy alloys for this model as none we have tried fit 😵

I'm sure you can. It'll either be 4x100 stud pattern or (more likely) 5x110. Pretty much any Vauxhall (or Saab) alloys since 1986 with the right number of studs will fit.

Yes this is what I thought and have tried these and have done numerous searches on Google not no avail 🤔

I'd be very surprised if alloys weren't an option for that car, so there will be some OEM wheels that would fit.

As said above, Google it, find the specs for the wheels and you can go from there.

Does it take four bolts or five to attach the wheels? Can you show a picture of the alloys you bought? What was it that stopped them from fitting?

Astra J's have different wheels for the diesels

The 1.3D and all petrols (apart from 1.6T) have stud pattern 5x105, but the rest of the diesels are 5x115

So you may be able to fit wheels from a 1.4 petrol SRI

Stud pattern is as above 5x105, and do have to be off a diesel as tried the petrol Sri ones and they don't fit the holes won't line up, sorry can't get pic at mo
Ps it is a Astra J

As said the astra J is a very odd mix of wheel bolt fitments!

For the Astra J they are 5x105 for all models up to the 1.6 (1.3, 1.4, 1.4 turbo, 1.6)
and 5x115 for all models 1.6 turbo upwards (1.6 Turbo, 1.7 & 2.0)

As for other wheels, 5x105 is very much a GM fitment so it will have to be something from the astra J range if you are in the UK

This is exactly why I cannot understand why manufacturers have not just agreed that for example All 4 STUD will be 4 x 100 and 5 stud 5x 120 as it's stupid have millions of variations. it adds no value an presumably costs more if GM go to an OEM wheel firm and specifies a new stud pattern every time.

As far as I know, Astra K also uses 5x105 so you could always fit a set of those. Plenty on eBay for sale.
