Insignia CDTI 160 SRI - feedback and info on remapping.

I have the opportunity to buy a 5 year old Insignia CDTI 160 SRI, which has had one owner aside from the original dealer and has been driven up and down motorways all its life. Its a company car owned by my neighbour and she gets the chance to buy it at trade in value and would then sell it onto me, so a heck of a lot of car for not much money, compared with your typical VW Passat/BMW 3 series. Also, I know the vendor and know the car has been treated well and been reliable, so this is a much safer purchase in my mind than your usual 5 year old ex fleet Insignia! For me then, looking for a family car/motorway commuter hack its a no brainer..... I've always thought this is a good looking car and whilst I have yet to drive one, I had a sit in it last night and it feels nice. Anyway, do VX owners rate these cars and has anyone re-mapped one? My neighbour says occasionally with the air-con on, it can be hesitant pulling away and I understand a remap can help cure these sorts of issues and provide better response.
