It looks a great road. Where is it? I'm pretty local but I'm new to the area.

I miss my vx220. I had an NA and it seemed like more fun? You could put your foot down without reaching silly speeds.

Nice ride, nice road. That is the Black Mountains Pass. Years ago there was a challenge to get from the south border where the road begins at the cattle grid all the way to the town at the northern side in twenty minutes, bikes weren't allowed, they had a shorter time limit.

It was achievable but I don't remember hearing about anyone actually doing it with the proof to back it up, as usual. Thankfully the police clamped down on the road because you'd have to do it by taking racing lines at the fastest speeds in seriously expensive kit.

Just after that hairpin near the beginning of your video their is a left turn, the road starts off rough but then all kinds of fun can happen as you make your way to Ammanford. There are a few long 30 degree declines down there ;-)
