Corsa D ABS pump
Discussion
Well this isn't a cheap.
Hopefully the image says most of it, the car is 2007 and 37,000 miles and faced with a 1k repair bill.
Vauxhall saying too old for them to contribute anything. Surely an ABS system should be lasting more than this!
Partner needs to use the car for a 100 mile commute twice a week and being faced with this isn't ideal. Car is immaculate apart from this.
Anyone know of anywhere else that can repair or replace reliably for less? Was hoping for a small contribution at least from VX.

Hi,
I know this is a bit late for you but it may help someone else with a similar problem. My wifes 2007 1.4 corsa design was pulling to the left when braking. I then took it to vauxhall dealer in northampton for a diagnostic check (£79). It turns out it needed a new abs pump/module and was quoted £1200 inc labour. They wouldn't tell me the exact part number ( for fear of me sourcing a salvaged part I assume).I then took it to a local garage who had the diagnostic kit and they told me the exact part number which I then sourced from ebay for £185.00 inc 48hr delivery. The local garage fitted this for £150 inc the original diagnostic check and re-diagnostic check to make sure all ok. I was told by the local garage beforehand that it isn't 100% certain that this would work but I took the risk. The only problem I can forsee is if the salvaged part is faulty in the first place. Also I was told you have to get the exact part numbers correct. I hope this helps anyone else.
