Vectra C Rear door lock

O/S rear door won't open.
Have removed the trim panel to expose the lock and operating rods, everything seems to operate and move
as it should, even electrically, but door just won' t open.
Something must be broken or jammed in the lock stopping it from releasing.
Any ideas how to get the door open to remove the lock?

Today we broke the lock apart and got the door open.
Replaced the lock with known working unit, all worked correctly until central locking was
operated, now it locked shut, back to square one.
Anybody to overide the electronic dead lock?

Problem all fixed!!
The yellow/black wire that triggers the electric deadlock was severed where it exits the door.
Once soldered together everything worked as normal.
Moral of the story, check the wiring where it exits the door before changing locks!!
