Very stupid question, astra GTC 1.4T, what fuel?
Discussion
and no I don't mean petrol or diesel,
I mean that I got this car a week ago and coming from a thirsty 1.8 insignia without thought I loaded it up with Sainsbury's cheapest fuel and it doesn't quite feel as strong as when I first picked it up with that tank of gas from the dealer.
I have already looked in the manual, fuel filler cap and online for any suggestion but found nothing.
Any suggestions for what grade of fuel I should be using? worried about screwing up the turbo

I have an astra J 2.0 CDTi and i used tesco cheap fuel in it for a while. It went into limp mode one day and i took it into the garage and the first thing he said to me without even looking at the car was "Have you been using supermarket fuel?" i said yes and he told me to stop using supermarket fuel and it'll be fine. Hey ho he was right. Not a blip since. So I would say use garages not supermarkets but still just use the standard 95 octane.
