Astra GSI mk4

I'm looking to by a mk4 Astra gsi. I've always liked these but was wondering what they are like if anyone with experience with them could let me know.

I had one for 4 years a few years ago. It was a great car fast and surprised a few cars on the drag strip. I had mine remapped, bigger intercooler, full exhaust with precat removed and uprated brakes. I then had to get an uprated clutch and lightened flywheel as the clutch wore out after about a year of the extra horses and trips down santa pod. I sold it when it had 85000 miles on the clock and bought a 6 month old VXR8. The GSI felt as though the gear stick was getting sloppy after all those miles and could have done with new suspension. My turbo never went but with the Mk4 GSI getting on over 10 years old I would allow for a turbo replacement.
