I'm tempted beyond belief to buy a Vectra 3.2V6 GSI that's come up for sale.

Just seem to get so much for the money plus a great v6 treat for the ears!

Any one here run one and can share the pros and cons?

I've owned a '98 2.5 V6 GSI for around a year now and it's been great. My mate also brought the 3.2 V6 GSI around the same time. He's, so far, not had any problems with it. He averages around 28-30mpg and uses it to commute to work in the week and as a great toy at the weekends. Its a great tourer. If you want a car thats a comfy every day car but that can surprise you when you put your foot down, go for it!

Hate the interior but I have to admit that is a lot of car for the money, considering it’s less than 10 years old. I’m sure someone will be along soon to point out something better for the money!

Nice to hear the economy, i was expecting a fair bit worse than the manufacturers guesstimate.

I'm having a re-shuffle of cars so the wife is going to get the Forester 2.5XT during the week for family/dog stuff. I just need a car for a 30mile (total) daily commute. Virtually no outlay and never had a V6 before.

Even an equivalent ST220 is circa 1k more...

Just to round this off I guess.

Ended up getting a Signum 2.2i direct for the wife for the wife and will keep the Forester for myself. She's happy as she has the biggest hatchback ever built and I'm happy keeping the lunatic!
