Astra 1.9 cdti alternator

I have a 2006 Astra 1.9 cdti (150) with a broken alternator.

After doing a bit of research there are three different alternators available for this model.

Is there anybody here that can tell me which one I need if I PM you my reg number or VIN?

When the one on my son-in-law's car failed, I found someone locally that repairs alternators. He collected it, fixed it and brought it back the following day, for far less than the cost of a reconditioned unit. I'd suggest you do a search for someone like that near to where you live.

ETA: I'm pretty sure his was a Denso unit, though made in Italy (as it's a Fiat engine).
