Horn playing up M.O.T due

Just my luck the mot is due soon and i have a strange horn problem, when the car has been sat a while the horn wont work, once the car has been running for approx 5-10 minutes it works fine, until the car is left to sit for a few hours again!!

the horn works with the lights on so i assume its not cim related

any ideas?

Possible dirty connection on the steering wheel boss or horn itself. That said I had to replace the horn on the LC as it gave up the ghost. Not a major job (10 minutes) & cheap horn bought off ebay.
