Vectra C electrics

My dads Vectra C has an intermitent elec fault after about 10mins driving the all the dials will stop working and the battery light and ABS lights come on, also during this time the radio and central display will also go off ,If the wipers are on they wont turn off and the indicators dont work but the Car drives normally and turning off and re starting cures the problem
anyone have any ideas thanks in advance

Sounds like the cim is about to go kaput you need to get fault codes read

this happened to my preface put it in the scrap after buying a new CIM only for the fault to still be there!

if it is the CIM i still have the new one i bought cleared ready to fit to another car
