I've got water getting into my boot of my corsa c. It seems to be on the left side of the carpet that's wet but I cant find where it is coming in from. I have checked the light cluster and that seems ok. I can't find any drips on the parcel shelf or anywhere else. Just the boot floor on the left side. Has anybody else had this problem or got any ideas ? Thanks

Are you 100% sure its not the light cluster? As I fixed one recently and the gasket was the problem, soon fixed with some duct tape.

The other way it might be getting in is around the joints/welds in the boot floor.

The best thing to do is to remove all the plastic trim and carpet and sit in it whilst somebody squirts the outside with a hose and you can see where its coming in.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, had the car back with the mechanic who replaced the gasket and said he has stripped all the interior trim and checked the guttering. In the end he said it is the gasket and the used one he put on is just as bad as my original. I've ordered a new one from the local vauxhall dealer for £4.15, hopefully will do the trick.
