corsa sri spare wheel options

Hi guys, just purchased a 61 plate corsa sri for "her indoors". I noticed there is no spare, not even a space saver, but there is one of those blody awful inflation kits instead.
Now i know this is as they are supplied when new, but while its the wifes car, i would like a suitable spare wheel, steel, alloy, or correct size spacesaver instead of the stupid kit.
It has 4 stud alloys, and the tyre size is 215/45/R17.
Anyone know what size a suitable spacesaver would have to be?.

Most new cars don't come with a spare wheel any more.

If you look in the handbook at the tyre size/pressure pages is the spacesaver listed there ?
Failing that just buy a steel wheel for a poverty spec model.

My other halfs VXR suffered the same so I brought an as new spare wheel from a poverty spec corsa, new jack and wrench and they all fit perfect under the rear boot floor. Doubt she would ever have used it anyhow but the cars going up for sale soon so the new buyer can reep the benefits if needed.
