Thoughts on Insignia VXR

Looking at buying one, seem like a good 2hand buy

My local dealer has 3 for sale all under 20k, what your thought on them?? And anything i should look out for??

Quite problematic to be honest.

Issues with corroding wheels, stretched timing chains, coil pack issues, brake problems and VX aren't the easiest to deal with regards warranty.

Can think of many better cars for the money.

BMW 535d is a great car or try a 335i / 335d the insignia is dull to drive and will continue to loose money.

Oops - bit late to this.

I have had one for two years and it had mainly an alarm problem for the first year (which was a badly fitted rear window).

Mechanically it has been sound

Running costs seem fairly good and it is a solid feeling car.

I did not buy it to be a fast car though - just a quick family car so it is not driven to the limit much at all. I expect to keep mine for some time.
