Oh boy,

went out in VX yesterday morning, didnt get a huge long drive but enough to make me certain i want one. was a used 2.2 example went out in, now i just wonder if i can afford the turbo. mainly for the halo effect of it being the more expensive model and the stats being higher and so a faster car.

anyone in here bought on the vauxhall choices sceme and what sort of deals been available. might have to go for the deposit, small monthlys and then see what i can afford in three years time.

after all young once and i am young now, and it is calling to me, and i am week can't say no. must have must have.

a couple of VXT's went for just under 20K on vx220.org.uk recently.

But the guy was desperate to move them.

Still seeing 21/22K prices of 03/53 plates though, depends what spec you want.

Look on eBay - there are some on there for £18k

I'm test driving one Monday which is up for just short of £18000. 03 plate, under 10000 miles, like new. Can't wait !!!

Check www.parkers.co.uk for an unbiased valuation.

Good hunting

Edited to say... I bought it. 'kin fantastic car. Only 16 months old and saved £8000 on new! (or £1 per mile the previous owner did) It's almost mint with only a few stone chips detracting from that "new" look. I am soooooooo pleased with it!
