I had a funny thought while looking at the various Tuscans on offer, "Why not go for a VX220 Turbo?". I mean, they look the part, go pretty swiftly, etc.

So, I'm going to ring the local dealer and book a test drive next week. However, them being Vauxhalls, I looked on the website and they have a multitude of options.

Any advice on worthwhile options?

Note: I'm surprised that the hardtop is a costed option - surely they should come free!

Floor mats: it's a bit bare without them

Passenger footrest: can be useful for passenger to wedge themselves in as they don't have much to hang onto during a spirited drive.

CD player: it's fairly cheap and cheerful. note that if you are going to fit your own then you need to specify a cut-out in the dash.

Hardtop: expensive for what it is but gives you a little more security.

Centre brace: i think it's only cosmetic

Leather seats: personal choice, probably more harder wearing than standard

Travel pack: cargo net behind seats & pockets on the sills next to the seats...pockets can be useful as there is very little storage in cabin.

Sports exhaust: there are other after-market options too, they all sound different, come to a meet and listen to them

I think that's most of them. More info is available here, try out the search function. Plus there's a few of us who post here too

I'm sure there are plenty of members near you who would be happy to show off their cars. There's at least two members in Middlesbrough.
