05 tigra radio draining battery

Hi Has anyone had this problem,

My girlfriend has an 05 1.8 tigra with a standard cd radio and the radio keeps turning its self on and draining the battery, whats the cause of this and how can it be fixed?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the radio a cd30, if so I had the same problem my local vx dealer fitted a resistor in the wiring loom behind the plug on the radio, hope this helps your local dealer should be able to help
